Dining at The Butchers Arms

When you visit us why not sample something from our extensive traditional British food range which is cooked fresh every day. You can savour the delights of a variety of old favourites ranging from gammon steaks, duck breast in orange sauce, liver and bacon, scampi and chips, ploughman’s lunch, homemade pies and fish courses as well as our famous Daily Specials board or Continental Cuisine alternatives. The Butcher’s Arms is also renowned for its succulent fillet and rump steaks and its Sunday Roasts with a choice of beef, pork, chicken or lamb garnished with our special Butcher’s Arms meat stock gravy.

Food is served from 12pm throughout the week. On Sundays we have a sittings at 12pm, 2pm and 3.30pm.

Reservations must be made on Sundays and may be necessary during the rest of the week.

We Are Now Taking Christmas Bookings

We are now taking bookings for Christmas so why not join us and celebrate the festivities in style.

As well as the classic turkey dinner with all the trimmings we also offer duck, salmon, lamb and chicken as alternatives.

There is also a choice of fare for vegetarians.

For dessert there is cherry brandy triffle, crème brulee or refreshing lemon sorbet. And round off the night with cheese and biscuits and coffee all of which are included.
